TRAUBE TONBACH COOKERY SCHOOL
Anyone who enjoys cooking well can now perfect their love of sophisticated cuisine. The Traube Tonbach cookery
school has long since become an institution for ambitious amateur cooks and connoisseurs and is perhaps the
best opportunity to cook exclusive meals together with others who share your culinary passion.
In the excellently equipped professional kitchen and under the competent lead of kitchen director Jürgen Reidt
and head chef Henry Oskar Fried, you work on a culinary theme while studying the most important techniques,
secret tips and tricks of “grande cuisine”. And when the cooking is over, you can enjoy the fruits of your labour in a
delicious group lunch. For each course, sommelier Stéphane Gass selects an appropriate wine which provides the
perfect round off to this pleasurable experience. Each class starts at 10.00 a.m. Please ensure that you book the
course in plenty of time via our room reservation team.

All prices are per person and per day.
On each day of cooking, an exclusive theme menu will be prepared which will not be
repeated the following day.

EXTRA
The courses can only be offered to groups of six people or more. For a group of eight
or more, we are happy to arrange a course on the themes and dates you wish. We
charge an extra € 40 for participants who are not guests at the hotel. If you cancel
a reservation at short notice (fewer than 14 days before the course is scheduled
to begin), we are unfortunately forced to send out a cancellation bill (80% of the
contractually agreed price for participation at the Traube Tonbach Cookery School)
unless we are able to fill the place in the course for the period in question.
This also applies if you change your booking to a later time and subsequently
cancel. Thank you for understanding.
THE BIG BIRTHDAY COOKERY PARTY
A very special birthday celebration. Invite your guests to cook and enjoy at our
cookery school. Sharing the experience and creating the menu yourselves makes it
simply unforgettable.
TIME TO COOK AND ENJOY
Enjoy our cookery school while experiencing all of the amenities that Traube Tonbach
has to offer. When you arrive on Sunday, we will welcome you with a glass of
sparkling wine and invite you to enjoy a delicious fivecourse dinner at our
Köhlerstube restaurant. The cookery course starts on Monday at 10.00 a.m. and ends
at 4.30 p.m. We will serve a gourmet platter with a half-bottle of wine to you in
your room on Monday evening.
Tuesday is all about relaxation. After a hearty breakfast at our Silberberg
restaurant, you can relax at the Traube Spa & Resort or discover the beautiful
nature of the Black Forest on a hike. The evening meal will be served at our
Silberberg restaurant.
