Three Michelin Stars become four!

Four Michelin Stars for Traube Tonbach: Köhlerstube and Schwarzwaldstube awarded with four stars by the „Guide Michelin“.

Tonbach, Baiersbronn (Germany) – 26th of February 2019. The Köhlerstube with head chef Florian Stolte received one Michelin Star for the first time, while the Schwarzwaldstube with head chef Torsten Michel holds the highest rating of three Michelin Stars again. The „Bib Gourmand“ was also confirmed for the Bauernstube with head chef Florian Stolte. Therefore the restaurants of  the family business are currently awarded with four of the most wanted macarons of the french restaurant guide.

"Our two successful teams from the Köhlerstube and Schwarzwaldstube make us really proud" confirmed Heiner Finkbeiner. "Of course we especially congratulate our team of the Köhlerstube to its first star. Florian Stolte has consistently fought for this success and won well deserved" said hotelier Heiner Finkbeiner.

Florian Stolte joins the league of over 50 top chefs, including seven current and former three-star chefs, who have completed their training or a career station in one of our four restaurants. 

"Talents deserve to be promoted - for a good reason, we never hesitated", Heiner Finkbeiner explains the high success rate and clarifies:"Traube Tonbach celebrates its 230th anniversary this year as a family business. We would not be here, if we were not constantly working in the awareness that we are doing it for the next generation."
