The Finkbeiner family now runs Traube Tonbach in its eighth generation, together with a highly motivated team of over 320 employees who ensure every day—with joy and dedication—that guests are well taken care of.

So that you, as our guest, can fully relax and enjoy the delights of the house and the Black Forest, a great deal of hard work happens behind the scenes.

There is a reason why our apprentices are almost always among the best of their year and why our kitchen has produced culinary artisans who have earned a total of over 100 Michelin stars: we love what we do and enjoy working together. You can feel this in every detail and in every interaction—from room service to the head chef.
