Take advantage of school breaks for a special family vacation at Hotel Traube Tonbach. We regularly offer family vacation periods where you can enjoy many benefits.

Stay in our spacious 75- to 85-square-meter family apartments. With separate bedrooms and plenty of space to play, run around, and enjoy cozy family evenings, a vacation at our five-star family hotel in the Black Forest is a carefree experience for the whole family.

Alternatively, during vacation periods, you can book a separate room for your children (ages 16 and under) for just €119.00 per child, per night.

Please note that, for organizational reasons, we reserve the right to assign children’s rooms. If you wish to book a specific room, we will charge the current daily rate.

In the past, the Traube Tonbach catered to Black Forest woodworkers, foresters, charcoal burners, raftsmen, and glassmakers who worked in the Tonbach Valley and the surrounding region. Continuing this tradition, the playground at our 5-star family hotel in the Black Forest invites children to enjoy wonderful moments. The rough logs are a reminder of the hard work of the rafters who transported the wood down the Rhine. Today, they’re for playing with—and plenty of water, weather permitting. Our playground promotes dexterity and offers plenty of opportunities to let off steam and get thoroughly muddy.
