The half-board package includes breakfast, our “enjoyable afternoon” with snacks for a small appetite - from 1.30 p.m. to 3.00 p.m. - and dinner. Either as a five-course meal, buffet or a dinner. Prices are available in our latest price list.

The municipality of Baiersbronn charges a residence tax per guest and day starting with one overnight stay. The hotel will bill you for this residence tax and pay the municipality in your turn. You will receive a residence card for reduced admission to various community facilities, concerts and events.

Your room features a mini bar with a small selection of beverages (see price list in our Traube-App). We will replenish your bar as needed – simply contact room service (dial 674). The mini bars automatically register the items you consume. If the item is removed from its compartment for 30 seconds, it will be charged to your room bill. If you have any questions, contact the reception desk (dial 9).

If you cancel a confirmed reservation at short notice (less than 14 days before your arrival date), we will charge a cancellation bill (80% of the contractually agreed price of accomodation and breakfast) unless we are able to resell the room. Thank you for your understanding.

Our reception staff (dial 9) would be happy to provide evening and weekend business hours upon request and even pick up your medications for you if needed.

Our hotel is equipped with a modern fire alarm system. The evacuation routes are easily accessible and clearly marked with the corresponding symbols. In the event of an emergency, please follow the instructions of our employees. Never use the elevators in case of fire.

In front of our hotel we have charging stations for your electric car. Our team at the hotel entrance and at the front desk will be happy to assist you. For the use of the charging station you need your own charging cable, with a "Type-2 plug" and a charging card.

Free rental of e-bikes and mountain e-bikes: Moustache’s e-bikes are the ideal combination of riding pleasure, mobility and comfort. Our events team is happy to show you the bikes, to provide assistance or to give suggestions for tours. We also arrange guided pedelec tours. Please see the Traube Kurier for tour times and dates. Please reserve the e-bikes at the reception desk at the main entrance (dial 697 or 9).

We will store your empty suitcases during your stay upon request (dial 9).

All our rooms and public facilities are equipped with free WiFi. Simply select the network HotelNET and confirm the terms and conditions. Please see the reception (dial 9) if you need help. If you need a photocopier or scanner our reception team will be happy to assist you.

If you need a wake-up call, please contact our reception staff and give your desired time when you want to be woken up (dial 9).

A hearty breakfast buffet is served in our Silberberg restaurant every day from 7.30 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. Of course we also serve breakfast for a small extra charge in your room (telephone 674).

A small afternoon snack is served from 1.30 p.m. to 3.00 p.m in our restaurant Silberberg.

Numerous parking spots are located right outside the hotel. The parking spots outside the hotel are free of charge. Naturally, our valets are there to assist you with parking and retrieving your car. Keys for cars parked for free are kept at the reception desk at the main entrance

The train station in Baiersbronn is only 5 km away from our hotel. If you arrive by train, we will be happy to pick you up at the station in Baiersbronn. Please inform us in advance about your arrival or departure time.

Our entertainment team puts together a varied leisure programme for you every week. You can view the programme in our Traube app. Participation in most offerings, sports programmes and activities such as hikes, group excursions, yoga and other classes are part of our generous amenities.

In our Traube Kids Court children and young people will find their own little world right in our hotel with plenty of things to discover. Our events team takes care for your children (ages 3 and up) every day from 10.00 a.m. to 9.00 p.m. and fridays and saturdays from 10.00 a.m. to 10.00 p.m. During holidays and bank holidays every day from 10.00 a.m. to 10.00 p.m. We have lunch for the kids every day at 12.30 p.m. in our restaurant Silberberg as well as a “dinner for kids” at 5.30 p.m. in our cooking school which is free of charge. Please tell the support staff if your child will be dining with us.

We have the following items available for our smallest guests: cots, changing tables, nappy bins, bottle warmers and baby monitors. Please call our housekeeping (dial 681) or the reception desk (dial 9).

The reception staff (dial 9) would be happy to arrange a babysitter for you. The service costs 25,00€ per hour.

Children and young people will find their own little world right in our hotel. The Traube Kids’ Court is an enormous playroom with a playstation, a kids’ cookery school, chill-out room, cosy corner, indoor football, bobby cars and 1,000 other fantastic ideas – such as badminton or etiquette courses. There are also great excursions, sporting events and activities on the agenda every day.

Our events team takes care for your children (ages 3 and up) every day from 10.00 a.m. to 9.00 p.m. and fridays and saturdays from 10.00 a.m. to 10.00 p.m. During holidays and bank holidays every day from 10.00 a.m. to 10.00 p.m. We publish a list of the latest activities in the kids’ weekly programme.

We have lunch for the kids every day at 12.30 p.m. in our restaurant Silberberg as well as a “dinner for kids” at 5.30 p.m. in our cooking school which is free of charge. Please tell the support staff if your child will be dining with us by 10.30 a.m. for lunch and by 4.30 p.m. for dinner.

You can store your cash and valuables in your room safe. The contents of this safe is insured up to 25,000 Euros against theft due to break-in. Otherwise, the legal liability provisions in accordance with § 701 BGB (German Civil Code) applies. In this case, the hotel is liable for an amount up to not more than 100 times the price of an overnight stay (but not more than 3,000 Euros) for valuables. The hotel is only liable for up to 750 Euros for cash, securities and other items. If you need to store especially valuable objects or large amounts of cash, it is necessary to make special arrangements with the hotel management.

Each room is equipped with an electronic safe which you can lock and unlock by entering a six-digit combination. Instructions are found in the safe. Please see "Liability for valuables" for more information on liability and insurance. It is possible to store your values in our hotel safe at the reception on request. Please note that we do not allow dogs or other pets in our Schwarzwaldstube, 1789 and Silberberg restaurants or any part of our main hotel. We appreciate your understanding. In the house Kohlwald all rooms are available where you can take your dog with you.

Women, who dine at Schwarzwaldstube, generally dress in elegant evening wear. We ask that men to dress accordingly. We are happy to welcome our geusts in our other restaurants dressed according to the occasion.

Blockhütte
Located in the forest hills above the hotel. Whether for lunch, a snack after the hike, for coffee time or a fondue and raclette evening, our Blockhütte is a popular destination. You reach the Blockhütte by leaving the hotel through the forest path exit starting in the second and fourth floor.

Our room service team will bring breakfast to your room. Call room service (dial 674) or fill out the breakfast order slip in your room the night before and hang it on your door outside. We serve breakfast from 7.30 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. and charge a service fee of 10,00 Euros per person. You can contact us from 7.00 a.m. to 11.00 p.m.

You will find robes and slippers in your room. To avoid any misunderstandings, we ask that you leave your robe in your room or at the reception desk when you check out – not in the pool area. We have a small collection of swimsuits and swimming trunks available for purchase in our Spa & Resort.

The small but exquisite Spa Lounge is located in our house Kohlwald. Please note that out of respect to families and our international guest that our panorama and steam sauna are to be used with bathing suits only.

Of course, we provide advice and assistance, if you are planning your own individual trip. Exiting destinations in the surroundings of the Black Forest are easily accessible by car or bus.

If you are planning to visit the attractive destinations in the closer and wider surroundings of the Black Forest our events team offers group trips with other hotel guests. For further information, please contact the event team (dial 697).

The nearest 18-hole golf course is located about 12 km away in Freudenstadt (phone +49 (0) 74 41/30 60). Hotel guests receive a green fee discount in the amount of 10,00 Euros per person. There are other lovely golf courses in Baden-Baden, Illkirch, Soufflenheim and La Wantzenau.

Besides the classic work-outs, health-oriented activities such as Pilates or fitness-oriented activities like aqua gym, back gymnastics, special yoga weeks, BBP, Body Balance, Flexi-Bar, functional gymnastics and combined fitness-course on music and Zumba to workout probably, are also offered. If you would like to have your laundry or dry cleaning done outside of the hotel, please leave it to your chambermaid. Please note that your laundry will be washed outside the house.The duration for laundry is 2 days and for cleaning 4 days. It is possible to indicate the laundry from Monday to Friday. The laundry invoice will be transferred to your room bill. For any complaints, please do not hesitate to notify us immediately. On request we also offer our guests a shoe shine service as well as a sewing service. Further information can be obtained from the reception (telephone 9).

We started using our new block-type thermal power unit in November 2009. As such, Hotel Traube Tonbach is making a major contribution to climate protection and energy efficiency. The power station consists of two modules that generate 434 kilowatts of power and another 770 kilowatts of exhaust heat, which is used to heat water. The station generates two million kilowatt hours of electricity each year, covering about half of the hotel's electricity demand. The system reduces CO2 emissions by around 870,000 kilograms as compared to conventional energy production sources. The hotel management offers regular tours through the power station.

Visit our hotel chapel on the third floor of the Rinkenkopf wing for quiet moments or a short prayer. The chapel is also available for weddings, baptisms and other family celebrations.
